After living in NYC for 8 years I really wanted to work with official turntablism champion, Hip-Hop and EDM icon Li Linguini AKA DJ Chainsaw. After my fairly conventional album with Billy Hart (Herbie Hancock) and Mark Turner (Brad Mehldau, Fly) I wanted to play music from my other roots. Next to my great love for Bach I grew up with Hip-Hop and EMD. The work Chainsaw has done for hip-hop in the world through TV and other media is very important.
