Robert Bosscher Biography

Biography

Dutch keyboard artist Robert Bosscher’s skills as pianist, composer, arranger and vocalist have brought him recognition in the world of jazz and r&b. In 2008 he graduated at the Manhattan School of Music as Master of Music. He studied with Jason Moran and Kenny Barron. His diverse recording and performing experience includes work with such legendary figures as Billy Hart (Herbie Hancock), Mark Turner (Brad Mehldau), Scott Wendholt (Village Vanguard Big Band), The Platters and The Trampps.

He has performed at many major New York jazz venues including The Blue Note, Birdland, The Plaza Hotel Oakroom, The Zinc Bar and Cleopatra’s Needle. His recording of original works, ‘Multiple Views’, was released to critical acclaim in January of 2013 and features Billy Hart on drums, Scott Wendholt on trumpet/flugelhorn and Mark Turner on saxophone. Robert also performed at the royal wedding of Dutch princess Carolina and Albert Brenninkmeijer in Florence, Italy.
